Brief Update On Future Plans and Current Happenings

Just wanted to issue a brief update to address any confusion. DestroyTheHeart is changing its name to SoundRot, and our social media will follow suite within the next month. Going forward we are looking to eventually transition to our own website. We have already aquired a domain, and the site is currently under construction. Until it is finished the domain will redirect to our substack, and I’ll post another notification when we have that going. Beyond this we are also going forward with a couple of new ideas for columns and group articles, which will hopefully include coverage of newer music.

Also, for those of you that didn’t know, we’ve had a side project running on our instagram destroytheheart_, we post playlists every Wednesday that explore a genre, band, or period in the history of music alongside a two paragraph write up from one of our writers.

New articles should be live by the end of the day, and for the time being our publishing schedule will likely remain the first Sunday of every month.
